I'd had predicted it'd turn out this way..

I should have seen it coming..

Is it destined that my life is going to be like this forever? I guess so..

I really need a pair of listening ears right now, but who is there for me to pour everything to? I guess it's only this space over here, which I've been using for the past few mths for me to pour my unhappiness to..

I'm really getting tired.. Tired of every single thing that happened recently.. Why must it happen on me but not someone else? Why does God always chooses me over the others? Haven't I got enough obstacles in my life already?

I understand that life is full of ups and downs, but why must I be undergoing in just a short period of time? Set backs.. set backs.. And more set backs, what else can I see coming except for all these rubbish.

I used to tell my friends that it's better for them to tell someone else their problems so that the someone else can share the burden or even help them out in their situation. Bottling up doesn't help at all, but now I know, it's easier said than done. I reckon there will be much people who can really understand the situation that I'm in right now, so I might as well keep it inside me?

Now I know, the world is cruel, reality hurts and disappointment sucks.

Suddenly have the urge to come over to this space for a random update. Nothing much to talk about my life right now, I'm feeling very uncomfortable ever since Vincent and Bingyi enlisted last week. But anyway I got a call from vincent on sunday telling me that everything is fine in there, it's great to hear from him and saying that he's adapting and sharing with me funny stuffs. =D

Well, I'm basically left with 3 months before getting enlisting. Some how having mixed feelings about this, because I'm feeling bored at times without Vin and company, on the other hand I'm losing my freedom in a few months time. But I'm working tmr until sunday at PC show to kill boredom off, at the same time get some extra cash for some upcoming activities.

Bought a pair of Liverpool vs Singapore tix from my friend, will be watching with gin next month, and also next mth will be combined class chalet at sentosa. This needs money too as well, so if there's any other roadshows, I'll be very very glad to work. I'm gonna try to make these 3 mths time left to be as interesting as possible, if I can or should I say, if it's possible.

Can someone tell me how can I get rid of inconfidence, paranoid and insecure in just a few mins time? I somehow feel that 3 feelings that I had surely bring my mood to the lowest point, where I can get really really pissed and feel like blasting every out but there's nothing for me to blast or rant at except for this blog. If miracles can happen right here right now, I guess I will be smiling and perhaps even be smiling in my sleep?

Work tmr, needa reach Suntec by 830am, and I gotta be dragging my ass out of bed at 630am. Damn. I hate waking up early!

Has been 1 mth plus since my last update. Well.. Cause there's nothing for me to update really, so I'm lazy to login to this space and crap and type. This post will be on my Graduation Ceremony on 19th of May. =D

3 years just passed by so quickly, like in a flash and I'm already a graduate from TP. Had mixed feelings during the ceremony, we had so many nice lecturers in GET, friendly and helpful towards us and I always treated them with respect and like my own friend too. Thank you very much for all your guidance these 3 years.

Mr Chee for always being so supportive and arrowing me for helping out in events and being my supervisor during my SIP.

Mr Ng Chongming for his guidance in Adobe Flash AS3 scripting and always helping me with those errors that I encountered in my project.

Mr Toh Dajun for being such a funny person and always joking with us in lab, joining us in the L4D spree.

Mr Michael Garry for planning our MP/SIP and checking on our progression everyday.

Miss Cherry Thian for showing her support and patience in helping me with Maya, which made me enjoyed her lesson the most in Year 2. =D

The Greatest Irony of Love

Loving the right person at the wrong time,

And sometimes,

Let go when you’re hurting too much.
Give up when love isn’t enough.
And move on when things are not like before.

Random feelings came crashing onto me and here I am typing this entry.

School had started for those Poly students, and I'm stucked at home without a job and still depending on my dad's pocket money each week. I should be working a part time job now normally like any others and helping my dad with his work load. But instead I'm jobless and shaking my leg at home everyday and waiting for time to pass by aimlessly. And how I wish I can be like any other Poly students, waking up early and going to school. At least I won't be troubled over this burden of not helping my dad relieving his burden. Damn it.

Some people might say that I'm may be using this time now to rest before getting enlisting, but by the time I get enlisted, it's still a few months time before that. I should be getting an income stable job and giving my dad allowance instead of my dad giving me allowance each week cause I'm not working. You all might feel that, it's good that your dad is giving you allowance even though you are not working, but the fact is that, my dad has been giving me allowance since I started studying. Shouldn't it be time for me to be repaying this to my dad?

Birthday in just a few days time, no plans of celebrating as I find it no point at all. The celebration will not be as the same as before anyway. So I find it meaningless to celebrate it, it's just another normal day in the calender. Buddies are away in Taiwan for holiday and training, left with me and a couple of friends, the atmosphere will not be even there even if I plan to have a celebration isn't it? With no income, there's not much places I can think of going too, Singapore is just way too small in my point of view. Even if I want to go overseas for a celebration, it's also too late and rush to make all these arrangements.

Graduation Ceremony is approaching as well, it's another thing that requires money. I'm thinking whether to ask from my dad or fork it out myself. The rental of the graduation gown requires money, and I need to tailor make my formal wear as well. All these requires money, why is that all the problems in my life had got to do with money? Damn, money is the root of all evil. And Temasek Poly even sent me emails regularly reminding me of the 20 cents fine that I owe them, if I don't pay that fine, I won't be able to attend the Graduation Ceremony and get my Diploma as stated in the booklet. Damn. Luckily I passed my matric card to Angela and she's helping me to pay the fine. =x Thanks~ =D

Have you guys ever have the feeling of Deja Vu?

It means you have this feeling of familiarity when you are at a certain place, doing a certain thing that makes you have a sudden feel that you've been to the place, or done this thing before previously. I've experienced this a couple of times in my life already, but I'm gonna type this out here is because what I've experienced recently was really really something very surprising.

I went for my class BBQ last Saturday at Pasir Ris park and when I reached there, I suddenly felt that it's like an event that I've been to before in my life. The feeling was so vivid like it's been only taken place recently. And I thought that it might just be some random feeling that came onto my mind as I've been to so many BBQs recently. But when I've reached home, I switched on my TV, tuned around channels looking for shows, and finally settled down on a variety show. So I made myself a cup of hot chocolate drink and started munching on the egg tarts my bro bought, and this time, the feeling of Deja Vu happened once again. I actually sat still on my sofa, staring into the space and trying hard to recall did this scenario happened before. This was the first time that I actually couldn't understand how did this actually took place, and how do the theory of science explain this.

I've been neglecting my blog for quite some time, cos I'm lazy to update and lack of stuffs to update. Life's been rather routine for me lately, waking up in the day and then going online, playing Xbox360, eat, watch tv and then go to bed. The cycle goes on and on and on for everyday...

Worked at IT show 2 weeks ago for Senses in Starhub Roadshow, the 4 days work was hell for us. Explained stuffs for hours non stop, getting sorethroat almost at the end of first day at work. Lots of typical singaporean came to the booth asking what are the freebies we are giving out, indians and cheenas sticking so close to me while I'm explaining things to them and nearly suffocated me. But well, the 4 days of work might be tiring, but still it was fun and the pay was good. =D

Have been staying at home lately after the roadshow ended, went to school and collected my testimonial last week. Met my classmates and some schoolmates which I might not see them any time soon cos we are all going separate paths anyway. But still my class is going to organise a class BBQ during the 4th of April, we wanted to organise a chalet in the first place, but we couldn't book the chalet cos it's rather late already. So we proceed with the BBQ plan instead. =D

And yeah, got an sms from Mindy few days ago telling us that her grandmother just passed away. It was quite a shocking news as we heard from her that her grandmother was quite a healthy person, and wei kiat just had dinner prepared by her grandmother last week. This really shows how vulnerable a person can get when he/she is getting old. But still, it's not a bad thing that her grandmother went to another world peacefully. So Choonwei, Meifong, Eric Gan and me attended the funeral on Monday night. Chit chat at the funeral and helped with folding of the incense paper. Went home around 12am that night on Eric's van.

Hmm.. Well this might be a boring post with all text, but I remembered mentioning before that I'll not be updating so frequetly and even if I update, it'd short and boring. Cos I've got no pics to upload etc. So bear with me.. This space is turning into a journal instead of a blog.. =/

Wow. I can't believe I just woke up not long ago from my sleep. Well I slept at 3am last night, planning to watch soccer, but was too tired and my dad will surely nag at me when he wakes up. So I went to sleep instead. Just ate my light lunch, will be meeting Junhao, Shir, Sarah and Shao a few hours later for dinner at tpy.

Memories, just such a special thing isn't it? I'm sure everybody in this world, every friends of mine have memories kept inside their heart. I'm not the exception as well. Memories are actually the best thing, or best gift in this world. Reason because no one can take it away from you, and because it's the best gift for you to receive after someone important in your life had left you. There's nothing that you can get better than memories of what you did with him/her during the happy times.

I remembered when my grandfather passed away a few years ago, I cried during the cremation session, not because everyone were crying and I got influenced, but because I remembered when I was still a kid, he used to give me sweets or chocs when I go over to his place. But when I was older, he suffered from Alzheimer's disease, he starts to forget a lot of us, and only remember some people. And this time, he's asking sweets and chocs from us. This really sets me thinking what was the reason behind for him to ask for that, when he can ask for more?

And yesterday while I was taking bus 119 to my friend's house, during the bus ride, I passed by a few places which made me recall some of the happy or sad events that had taken place a few years ago or recently at those places. While passing by these places, I actually had images of what's actually taking place when I was at those places with my friends. I smiled to myself upon recalling these events, it's such a unique thing memories had become as I still can have images of those happy moments inside my head. Well of course for sad moments, I still have images of them in my head as well, but I'm trying hard to change them into learning experience of my life, not letting them being stagnant as sad memories in my life anymore. I wish I can smile when I pass by these places the next time just like how I smiled when I recalled those happy moments.

Life is short, so why not live life in a happy and cheerful mood? Smile and laughter is always the best medicine, and best thing you can give to others. So smile~! =D

Not been updating lately, mainly because I'm still stucked at home since returning from the Genting trip. Hmmm.. I've invited several peeps over to this space over here, but I've got to make this clear; this blog will be acting like a diary that I will be writing my thoughts in certain entries, don't expect too much updates to be here at this space, I'll still be updating about my daily outings with my friends as well if there's a chance we happen to be having an outing.

Alright. Met up with the Rockstar clique last sunday, went to Mind Cafe at Dhoby Ghaut for board games session. It was fun and full of laughters, although Sarah and Shaowei joined us later, but still Shir, Justin & me enjoyed the session before the others reached. Went for dinner after the board game session at Hougang Mall Ajisen, LJunhao and Joanna joined us during that time. Then we headed to LJunhao's house to slack, chit chat and crapped around. Haha.

Mahjong session ytd with my poly classmates at Eric's house. It's fun as well, although I lost money again, but it's still fun playing mahjong with them. Nothing's much, only that jeremy spilled over a cup of ice tea at the coffee shop and stained my Fred Perry polo and my shorts. But luckily the stains can be washed away. =/

Have been feeling much better after coming back from Genting, sorted out my feelings and it's like I'm starting afresh once again. Everything's back to normal, I'm feeling perfectly fine, I'm not pretending anymore, I'm smiling and joking like I used to be. Although I still need some time to get over it. Fate and Luck is really the key of r/s I guess? But I've yet to get either one of that at the moment. I've been very unlucky for the past few years, even playing mahjong can lose.

Dejection is what I always get in my life upon rejection. But human always tends to get obstacles in their lives as they grow up, I'm sure not everyone can grow up and learn lessons in a very smooth way. If you happens to be one, then I'm sure you are definitely not a strong person. Cos it's from these obstacles, these failures or rejections that made you stronger, and yes. I'm sure I'm much more stronger than before, I'm starting to be much more optimistic and let go of things that are not meant to be mine. Why hold on to something when you know that you can't get it? Life still moves on, the earth still revolves and it will not stop a sec to take a look at you crying or whining.

I'm interested in learning Photography, anyone interested? But I need a SLR camera. Damn~

Back from Genting, but nothing seems to have changed much for me. Now marks the day where another chapter of my life starts. I'm still not sure whether to invite my friends over to this space yet, or to make it private forever. Still can't make up my mind.

Regarding on the Genting trip, it was fun and tiring as well. One of the main reason was due to that I fell sick on the 2nd day, having a slight fever during the late afternoon. But luckily it occurs only after I've played most of the rides from the theme park, if not it'll be a total turn off and waste of money to enter the theme park. The Space Shot wasn't open when we went there, it was under maintenance. Hence Meifong and Mindy were both disappointed, because on the day we left, the maintenance was over and the ride was available. But the weather wasn't that good, foggy plus raining. So we were lucky that we were able to play all the rides on the day we went to theme park, especially the Corkscrew which I missed when I went there the 1st time. It can be considered the most thrilling ride I took during the theme park, but it still ranked 2nd as Space Shot is still the 1st. LOL. Another ride I enjoyed the most will be the Go Kart, I didn't play it during the 1st visit also. It was fun as the track is quite smooth, I didn't have to step on the brake even once to enter any turns. Then others went to play the teddy bear booth, trying to win the bears and soft toys there. The outcome was rather good, but Meifong spent a bit too much there. Lol.

The food there was good, except for the First World Cafe breakfast buffet. It was a total waste of money as the food there was normal and not much variety. Other than that, other food all tasted nice. We had fast food there for most of our lunches there, supper on the 1st night and dinner on the 2nd night was cup noodles. Haha. Funny yeah? Went so far up the mountains just to have their cup noodles there. Lol. The hotel stay was okay? Some idiots were like drunk or something and shouting so loud in the middle of the night, disrupting my sleep. Other than that we enjoyed the dai dee, donkey session. Haha.

And the bus we took broke down while we were going uphill. Bloody kuku driver, pushed the bus too hard, causing the engine to die. Luckily there's another bus passing by to pick us up.

I never expect that it would be so painful to be typing those messages, telling you that I'm alright, and hoping that everything will be still the same as before when we start to know each other.

I never expect that it requires so much courage, to be typing the message and sending it to you after a few days later.

I never expect that telling my friends that I'm feeling alright would pierce me through so much, and to put on a strong front in front of them to be so tiring.

I never expect that after so much things that had happened, everything seems to be back to the starting point again where things start from zero once again.

Never did I expect that, the old Meng Wee that's once a joker and bringing laughter to friends around him to be dead and vanished in this world already..

I've packed my stuffs that's needed for my Genting trip just now, and right now I'm here to type this post. How I wished that I can fill the luggage full of my problems, and then bringing it to Genting and just pour everything away there. Then back to Singapore starting afresh, like how I used to led my life, just like any ordinary person out there. But I guess after coming back from Genting, I'll be contacting EA for a part time job. Then that will be the time where I keep myself occupied with work and long distance of travelling, gradually forgetting the feeling that I have for her. =/

I've decided to make my blog into a private space already, have been wanting to do this long ago, but never really done it. So now it's officially private, although I'm the only one that that read this post starting from today, still it's okay. I might invite some of my friends whom I want them to read over to this space soon I guess?

From the above quote, I truly understands what it means today. And it's really very very true. You may put in a lot of effort in whatever you do, be it your project or relationship, but at the end of it, what you will get back normally is never that you had expected.

期望越高失望越大

Never to have false hopes, as said, the higher you stand, the more pain you will get when you fall. The higher your false hopes are, the more painful your heart will get. I had the chance to experience this in my life up till today, never did I expect that the impact of the fall to be so huge.

Just when everything seems to be working out fine, just a word, a truth, can tear down everything and leave you devastated. I guess that's life? You must live in the reality always, but not in your own world, blast it out of the own world and get back to reality, as your life will not be as colorful as any fairytale stories.

When someone asks me, "Are you okay?" What I normally reply is, "Yes, I am. Don't worry. =D" But deep down in my heart, I'm not okay. I'm just trying to put on a strong front in front of my friends, I don't want them to be troubled over me, I don't want them to worry about me, I don't want to add on more burdens to what they already have. I've never always shared my troubles and problems with my friends around me, even with my closest ones. I always keep my problems bottled up, although I know that it's not a good way, but what else can I really do? I'm just not good at expressing myself, that's always been the problem for me.

Inferior. Yes I'm inferior. Because I have no good points in myself at all, I can only thinking of bad points like hot tempered, vulgar etc in myself. So what makes me stands out? I guess I'm just like any other ordinary boy out in the world. What makes me feel more and more inferior is because I've failed in relationship many many times. I lost confidence, started to have low self esteem of myself, and gradually, I might even forget how to love...

I hope I'll be feeling better when I'm back from Genting next week. Lastly, to end with a few songs which depicts my mood right now..

I read Jayelle's blog just now, and came across something that she typed and I found it really true and meaningful.

When you wear new shoes, you have blisters on your foot.
What do you do?
You have to keep walking, keep walking..
And one day you will realize your blisters are gone and u are comfortable in your shoes. :)

It's actually same as life, you will come across obstacles in your life. Not once, but many times. So what should you do? We have to keep moving on, and slowly one day, these problems will be gone. If you choose to throw the shoe aside, you will still get blisters on your foot the next time you wear it.

Alright, this will be quite a lengthy post after I upload all the pictures. But I've to wait for Meifong to send me the photos, and at the mean time I only got 3 photos to upload, that's the class photo we taken during the seminar I attended on last Friday.

6th Feb 2009 (Friday)
Went to school to attend the Last Lap Seminar for our graduation, but before that I went to print out my MP report and burn the project into a CD for submission. So after settling everything, went for the seminar and got to know what are the life we gonna led after graduating. NS then Uni? Not much during the seminar, went to the Careers' Fair and took information on the various universities and companies. Then off to Chinatown to check out the price of the Genting trip.

7th Feb 2009 (Saturday)
Woke up quite early and prepare, cos going to bai nian at my poly classmates house. 1st stop was Choonwei's house, which is at Boonlay. LOL. So I met Mindy and Weikiat at Boonlay mrt at 11.30am, but I reached earlier. Went to walk around JP, it's much more bigger after the renovation, I nearly got lost inside. After Mindy and Weikiat reached, bought lunch and went to Choonwei's house. Ate our lunch there and then next stop was my house. Reached my house and they played with Pepper, Choonwei seems to be torturing my dog instead of playing with her. Lol. Then next stop to Weikiat's house, reached there I played with his Xbox360, and others played daidee. Haha. Next stop was Mindy's house to bai nian and steamboat for dinner, went to shop for steamboat ingredients before heading to her house. Ate alot during the steamboat because there's so much food, but the feeling was shiok. Lol.

After steamboat, we played blackjack, ah chap and lastly in between. I won quite alot at in between, that game really requires good luck. And you can lose really fast and win really fast as well. Was really fun during the gambling part, even mindy's mum and bro were joining in the fun. Haha. Went off around 12am+, Choonwei sent Weikiat home 1st, then Meifong suggested going to 1 of the night hot spots in Singapore, Changi Village to see ba bok. Lol. Since it's on the way, we went there for awhile. And I can say some of 'them' there are really hot, but some cannot make it, cos they hasn't gone through the complete 'transform' yet. Didn't manage to take any pictures even though Choonwei turned into the carpark for so many times, but we did see one of 'them' wearing a skirt that's so short that we can see the ass and the g-string. LOL. So after 4-5 rounds around the carpark, we went off. Haha. Reached home around 1-2am? Can't remember.

Okay well, I'm feeling pretty much bored right now. Can't get to sleep or anything, have been feeling rather troubled for the whole day since I en quire on the school fees on DigiPen. The person told me it's $77,000 for a 4 years a Bachelor course, and it's a private uni, and my brother told me that I can't take a loan from the government. I can only take a study loan from the bank. And my dad asked me to apply for NUS or NTU, but I told him that my results wasn't good enough for both that universities. I can see the disappointment in him, that I've not performing well enough in school and make it into university.

I wonder if I'm really someone who can really studies, or I'm just playing around just too much? From my Poly's results, I doubt I can perform well studying in a uni needless to say. I should not waste the 77k from my dad, and not being able to excel academically well. And after today's talk about our future life by my course lecturers, I'm sure my life took a big turn. I knew that my GPA wasn't good enough to apply for NUS and NTU, there are degrees that I can take overseas, but the cost is very high.

I'm really confused right now, I've been thinking ever since I reached home just now, whether to apply for DigiPen or not. Up until now, I still can't come up with a decision yet. I 'm feeling very bored right now, currently blogging using my cellphone. Waiting for time to pass quickly until 4am, for Liverpool's match against Everton.

Hmmm.. Poly life is coming towards the end, and I've been very troubled lately about my future after my NS. Although its two years later, but I'm sure this two years will be over in a flash of light.

The funny thing is that, when I was in poly year 1 and 2, I always thought that university is definitely out or useless for me. But I realised that I was wrong. now then I realised that the importance of uni. With my current results, its impossible for me to get into a local uni. Getting into a private uni might be a way out for me, but I'm not sure if I will be able to afford it or not. I just got to blame myself for not studying hard enough. I'm thinking of studying at Digi Pen, but the school fees gonna cost my dad a bomb, so I'm not really sure of what to do.

Alright, this is just a random post for me to kill time. But I can't deny that I've been thinking about this the past few days. School later on, but I guess I'm sleeping around 6am? But I can't give school a miss as we need to finish everything up Tmr and compile them for friday. So I guess I'm gonna look like a zombie Tmr. Haha.

Alright, I shall post something, if not DERRICK will say come my blog see one Disappointment very sian. =D And ya, Liverpool won their 1st game after drawing so many games. They won 2-0 against Chelsea and Fernando Torres is the hero. =D

Today got a mysterious call 8am in the morning, wanted to pick up and that person hang up, nice one uh? What's more, that person called using private number. -.- Made me wake up and roll around my bed until 9am plus. And Leonard told me that there's meeting today! I completely forgot about it as I thought the meeting is tomorrow. So I bathed and rushed to school, by cab of cos. Reach lab and discuss our project, lots of things to improve on as there's a lot of bugs still. Deadline is this Friday 4pm, presentation is next Tuesday. So this week is the CoCo Crunch period, by Wednesday must show Chongming everything that's fixed, and not forgetting weekly journal and report also.

After that went to Future to find Derrick, LJunhao, Joanna, Jasmine, Keege and Nigel. Talked and slack, some random jokes came out.

Took this quiz as I read from Justin's blog earlier on, I almost freaked out when the results came out; the results was damn accurate.

I seriously hate and fear to be disappointed, be it in friends, school or even relationship. Friends case, I'm really disappointed how things had turned out now. School case, I'm constantly not having results that I've been striving for. Relationship case, I'm not so sure. Hmm. Yesterday was a very tiring day, went school in the morning, slack and viwawa in lab. Collected Fable 2 from Mindy, then went back home around 3+, played GTA IV. Then Joanna called and ask me go meet them. So went to find LJunhao, Joanna, Jasmine, Keege, Derrick and Nigel at Haji Lane, had a hard time finding that place, I was nearly lost. LOL.

Later on going my uncle's house to bai nian, quite a lot of people are going. So I guess it will be very crowded later on. I shall end here, I guess my next entry will be on the last of school in TP. =D Stay tuned..

Happy Niu Year to everyone. I'm back to update my blog, after leaving it stagnant for more than a week. Reunion dinner was normal, nothing much. Slept at 4am during CNY eve, why? All because of movies showing at HBO. Lol.

Chu 1 woke up around 8am, bathed and prepare. Went ah ma house first this year. But no one reached yet. Didn't get to see my cousins this year, sad.. After ah ma house, den to wai po's house. This year we are the earliest, won ah bing jie. Lol. Sat down chit chat with my uncle, ate lunch and waited for others to reach, then off to bai nian at other relatives house. At night went back for dinner at wai po's and went home. 10pm went vin's house to bai nian, plus drinking with gin and bp. Gin leaving for New Zealand for training, so met up before he leaves. Reach home around 3am, slept at 4am once again.

Chu 2 woke up around 8am again, den off to relatives house to bai nian. Then off to wai po house as it's my wai gong's death anniversary today. Ate lunch there and chatted, went off around 1pm plus, and I went vin's place for gambling session. Won $10 for the short session only, luck was quite good. Home-ed around 5pm, slept all the way until 9pm. Lol.

I realized I have not been updating my blog recently, well it's due to laziness and at the same time lack of events and interesting stuffs to update. I lead a boring life anyway, so pointless to update also.

8-10 January was helping out in TP Open House, was expected to explain a flash game project done by some of my course mates who are having internship programme. It's not my project, so I didn't really know much about it, except that I know how it is done in Adobe Flash. And there's some China visitor demanded me to explain the game and elements to them in Chinese, and how am I going to translate Actionscript and Adobe Flash to Chinese. So I passed the explanation to my friend. xD

12-16 January was helping out the TP JAE in school, it's quite a slacking job actually. Perhaps I'm the only one slacking, walking around eating snake, and looking at girls. HAHA. But it's quite a fun event, enjoying aircon inside the tentage, talking to lecturers and friends while it's not that crowded.

There are so many new courses this year in TP, and I really regretted not join IMI - Interactive Media Informatics 2 years ago. I have much more interest in graphics designing rather than game designing, although my drawing suck, but I still enjoyed the 3D animation lessons I had last year with Ms Cherry Thian.

Right now I'm in school, munching on some donuts, listening to songs and typing this post. Major project is 90% to completion, just waiting to implement some parts to make the game even better. And nowadays I can only enjoy my remaining days in school before graduation, slacking in lab and playing L4D. This few weeks might be my last few weeks in the lab before my project presentation.

I don't know what to type anymore, boring entry without any jokes or pictures. As I doubt there's any readers to my blog, I just lack the inspiration to think of any interesting stuffs to blog. So I apologize for that.

Had a quite embarrassing incident in school today, I fell backwards from my chair in my MP lab while play Left 4 Dead. Lol. How stupid can that be? And what's funny is that, I didn't even realise I was falling backwards until my ass contacted the floor. -.- And now my right knee hurts a bit, had a little problem while walking.

Wed is New Year's Eve, not gonna be heading to school since it's half day, pointless to go home with not much work done. Might be meeting Poly classmates, cw wk mindy etc for bak kut teh dinner at Concourse I guess. And see fireworks if possible after dinner. But it's gonna be damn packed I'm sure, so this plan is not confirmed yet.

Assassin's Creed is so addictive and I just can't stop playing, I guess I'm completing it soon. Next game to try out with be GTA IV, I've yet to purchase a 2nd hand version of it. Still not sure where to get it. Edward asked me to try out Fable 2 as well, heard that it's quite a good game. But GTA IV will be my top priority for now. =D

Life has been rather bland nowadays for me, or should I say I'm not making much effort or what to make it a much colourful one? Staying home on weekends is definitely a good way of saving money, energy and resting, with 2 soccer games of Liverpool to watch these 2 days made me even rooted to home, and not forgetting my Xbox360 as well. Been hooked to it lately, I'm not sure whether it's a good or bad thing, but at least it's some kind of entertainment I can get for myself by not heading out.

Normal school days back on tomorrow, which means with packed buses in the morning, packed canteens, but at least the normal Poly lifestyle is back from tomorrow onwards, and no more slacking as project deadline is really drawing very very near..

I've been thinking lately, what's exactly happening to my life, which really changed me.. I felt that the old me is no longer around, my usual lifestyle's gone, my usual smiles is gone, I'm not smiling as much as compared to the past, everything seems to be changed for me.. I'm not sure whether the others felt it, but at least I noticed the change in me. Is it only me, or what? Am I not making enough effort, or what? I really don't have an answer to that.

I can only say this is not a very very good year for me. Yes.. There are good things happening this year for me, happy events which makes me smile upon thinking back. but the unpleasant stuffs far surpass the happy events. I hope for a better year, which I think is quite impossible, but at least it's a good start for me, waving goodbye to year 2008 and welcoming year 2009 with open arms. =D

It's rather late now and I'm shocked that I'm not feeling tired or whatsoever when I need to head back to school tomorrow morning. Must be due to the long hours of rest that I had in the afternoon.

Went for the combined class BBQ yesterday evening, was really shocked to see so many people attending when I thought that the total no. of people attending won't be that much, but it appears that almost the entire of both classes attended. The weather was cool, or rather too cold I should say. But at least it didn't rain and spoil our BBQ. Had small chats with some of my classmates, but didn't get a chance to talk to everyone as there were too much people and all of them were busy engaging in their own conversations. The most enjoyable chat I had is with Qianrui, he had lots of lots of interesting stuffs to share with us on his US attachment. And he keep asking us to drink and I drank half a cup of Barcardi without mixing anything and I nearly went crazy. Luckily I'm not drunk or what. xD Had a surprise advanced birthday celebration for Huimin, hope you enjoyed yourself yesterday! =D

It's really a nice and timely gathering that most of us can gather together at Pasir Ris park to talk about our recent lifestyles. I'm graduating in less than 6 mths time, and army life will be another chapter of my life. Having this kind of gathering will be a big problem in future as most of us will be busy with our own lives or other stuffs. And I'm really glad to see some of my classmates which I had not contacted for more than a year, and seeing them enjoying their life right now. Who knows what will happen 10, 20 years down the road? Will we still be contacting each other and meeting up? I really hope so, but.. It's never really really easy, as it's always easier said than done. Isn't it?

School in less than 6 hours time, and I'm still awake. Looks like I'll be damn tired in lab tomorrow.

I'm back to clear my dust on my blog for not posting for an entire week, no choice man, nothing to update about and has been busying setting up my Xbox360 in my room. And yeah, it's finally been setted up nicely with just the lack of speakers and a network cable that is long enough to reach my router in the living room as the network cable Microsoft provided is only like 1m long.

And add me in Xbox Live if anyone of you plays it, my gamer tag is wee07. =D

School's been pretty much the same these few days, except that we need to rush things a bit because we need to showcase our game during the TP Open House on 8th of Jan, not sure of the details yet, and will be having a meeting with Chongming (our supervisor) tmr on our project. It's pretty much close to hit another milestone as we got the updated graphics that the artists, edward and leo provided us today. So it's left with me and other 2 members on the programming part. =D

Combined class gathering for 4J and 4K this coming saturday, been more than a year since the last gathering was organised, so it's a good time for a gathering since most of us will be enlisting into NS very soon. Not really sure who are the confirmed people going from my class, there seems to be some of them who didnt reply my email, so I'm not sure if they are aware of this gathering.

2 weeks of term break is really boring, because I'm not enjoying any breaks these 2 weeks. I've to go school for my major project and wake up early. Have been really lazy these few days and woke up later than usual. Weather has been really cooling as well and it made me even lazier for not getting out of my bed. School has been really quiet these few days as well, except for the construction works sounds that's irritating, other than that it's rather peaceful. And I'm getting very hungry easily these few days in school, I wonder if there's something wrong with me or I didnt eat enough when I went for lunch, but nonetheless food tends to make my day whenever I'm having a bad day. =D

Back for update. It's a brand new month once again, xmas is approaching in just a few weeks time, and follow by New Year. Time really passes like bullet train, another year is gonna end just like that, and I can say a lot of things really happened this year, not gonna elaborate more on it.

Worked at Ngee Ann City last Saturday and Sunday for a Starhub roadshow, it wasn't as fun as I thought it would be, but at least I was in charge of a booth together with Joanna. I can say it was boring, and bloody hot. I drank lots of water but still feel dehydrated when I reached home for the 1st day, as for the 2nd day, I could hardly feel my legs anymore when I got home, my left calf was cramping up when I was sitting down. But the overall experience was not that bad, got to know some new people and worked again with those who worked at the AVA roadshow.

Went to ah ma house yesterday to celebrate her birthday. Reached there at around 5pm plus as I was resting at home, after I got there, sat down and chatted with some of my relatives and cousins, after that eat and went home. Nothing much actually, except seeing some my nephew and niece growing up quickly and being very diligent.

School as usual today, went to buy Xbox360 with Weikiat and Mindy after school, Weikiat collected the console already but I've got to go down and collect it tomorrow cos they ran out of stock. Ma fan, and need to squeeze bus. Most likely will take cab home after I collect.

Back for an update since my blog is rather dead. I failed my BTT today, I'm sure it's a rather close results, but I still failed. Not gonna talk much about it, gonna try again harder for the next test.

And some random thoughts just came into my mind recently, or shall I say they are not random? As they really sets me thinking and pondering upon. Every night when I'm online, I can see contacts online in msn, I have 200 over contacts in my msn, but those who truly chat with me are really little. I can say I chat with less than 10-20 contacts in my msn list. Sounds pathetic isn't it? As I don't even know some of the contacts in the list.

The people whom I can chat with heart to heart is really limited, I can say not much people understands me, know me or even bother to double click on my nick to start a conv, UNLESS it is something important and they needed assistance or help from me.

As I had read Justin's blog earlier on last week on his post about friends, it really hit me hard on my thoughts and made me even sure that, Friendship is one hell of a thing that's hard to maintain, not only relationship with gf/bf. It's never enough just to meet once a week, sitting down together to chit chat or so. People may think.. It's okay, we met once a week to spend time with each other chatting, it's better than not meeting at all. But I can tell you that, you people might meet consistently for 1 or 2 months, but after that? You never knows.. When your friends get really busy due to work or school, the time spent will be gradually decreased, and you will really need lots and lots of effort to bring the friendship back together, but even if you do, it's never gonna be the same again.

You will start to feel the distance between you and your friends are getting further and further apart, not knowing what are they exactly thinking, and they might have a different opinion about you as well. Making new friends seems to be a very easy task, at work, school, events, activities etc. But how can it really be compared to the long period of friendship you had with your pri or sec sch friends? It's a whole new cycle where you need to start building the understanding and interest between each other.

How I wish that I'm still a 3 year old kiddo, making new friends when playing around at playground, running about playing catching and go sliding down the slide, going to neighbour's house to play with toys or even a PS3 or Xbox360. A kid will never have to worry about having to maintain their friendship with these friends as they all have a common interest in them, and that's to PLAY. They have no worries, no burdens, no problems in their lives at all. But when you grow up, problems tends to come knocking on your door, you start worrying about your future, your family, and not forgetting your friends. And I understand these burdens, problems and worries will somehow affect the time we spend with our friends during our free time as we need to dig out time to solve these problems, or even to do our own stuffs.

Back for a random update, life's been pretty much routine in school nowadays. But today there's a game company Ubisoft (Assassin's Creed developer) came to our Major Project lab for something like an exhibition? My fellow course mates were presenting the previous finished projects done by those groups that are having internship now. As for me and my group, nothing much, we were just slacking away doing our own stuffs when Ubisoft came.

They were only there for about 20-30 mins, left after browsing all the projects in the lab. Nothing special anyway. Lol. Jiatong did something very funny and courageous today, he shouted "Sockek!" very loudly in the lab cos he forgot something. I was laughing non-stop but trying not to be too obvious. =X And so Edward drew a picture on the whiteboard which is Jokes about J.T everyday.

And the picture above is the door of my MP lab. The idea came from Yanghao for the spyholes and he printed out the Visiting Hours and no feeding of monkeys. Lol. There are actually people peeping into the hole during TPrawks and I guess they are all those Sec sch students. Lol =x

I'm back for another update, this time round is William's 20th birthday celebration at Hotel Re!

Happy 20th Birthday to William!!!

The hotel was located quite at an ulu place. And we had to climb a lot of stairs before reaching that hotel. So Sarah and me reached the hotel room 1st for the decorations as Andy accompanied Janet home as she forgotten to bring some stuffs. And Sarah was folding roses while I'm busying blowing balloons and Sarah had to multi task to help me tie the balloons. =D Andy and Janet reached shortly after I finish blowing all the balloons, and we started with the major stage of decoration. Hanging up the "happy birthday" on the curtain, and that really was the most difficult task to do, as we need to think of ways to make the words as stable as possible. But the end results seems good and I came up with an idea of drawing on some of the heartshape balloons since there were 5 of them. =D Suddenly I felt that, I'm creative. Lol.

After decorating, we cleaned up the room and headed out to eat. And I guess that the hotel staffs there will remember us vividly as after we passed the key to the reception and headed out, Janet remembered that she left a big bag in the hotel room. And so we have to collect the card key from the reception again and then go up and take the bag again. Lol. So we went to Rabbit at Clarke Quay to eat, then Shirley called us, and William said thanks to all of us. Haha. And asked us to head back to the hotel and have fun together. LOL. So we headed back after dinner, and had fun together with the Birthday Boy. =D Alright, time for some pictures.

Alright. I'm back with my update once again. Because this time, I've got stuffs to update about and some pictures to share. =D

Worked at Singapore Expo last weekend 7th-9th of November with Shir and Sarah. It's a roadshow organized by AVA; Be a Responsible Pet Owner. It's a really very fun filled roadshow that I've worked so far, with lots of funny, friendly co-workers from Senses like Junhao and his cousin, Shaowei and Justin, Gerlaine etc. And those student helpers that helped me during the 3 days like Millennia, Desiree and the malay girl Darina i guess, for their help with my game booth on the Jigsaw puzzle. =D It was really fun working together with all these people during these 3 days, talking during work when there's no one at the game booth, joking around, eating behind at the backstage during break, and sharing jokes on bus 88 on the way back home. These 3 days working together passes so quickly, but it seems that all of us had known each other for a long time already. It's really amazing! And during the roadshow there are countless dogs running about, peeing and shitting on the floor. Haha. It's really a very cute scene with lots of cute and adorable dogs around. Alright, time for the pictures to do the talking.

Has been lacking of updates recently, the main reason was that I've got nothing to update about. Nothing interesting to talk about as well, except for some rantings about TP's wonderful planning of our Major Project right now.

School's started for 2 weeks already, and now most of us in the lab still got unconfirmed projects, or perhaps it's just my group waiting for MAS approval. And my supervisor went on training course this week, leaving us in isolation with some tasks and reports to do. Reading up on tutorials on Adobe Flash Action Script. Well it's not a bad thing for researching period, but we can't even get the software we need like Photoshop, After Effects and Flash CS3 installed on our computers to work on it hands on after reading the tutorials online. We have to even get the software cd keys from "unrighteous" ways. Aren't TP supposed to be providing with all the software we need for our development in our projects? We paid thousands over dollars of school fees each semester, and now we can't even have proper software installed on the computers. Sighh... I'm really wondering, will I even able to clear my Major Project with the current situation TP put us in.

Alright, enough of rantings already. I'm sure all of my friends in the lab will be thinking exactly the same thing as me right now, or even much more long ago. As said by Choonwei,

I'm super tired right now, slept only one hour or so as I watched Liverpool's disappointing game against Athletico Madrid, slept at 5am and woke up at 7.30am. This Friday - Sunday will be working at Expo together with Shir and Sarah for a Pet Responsiblity Roadshow. So I guess it will be a very tiring weekend for me as the working hours gonna be long. =( But money money come.. I need to save up for a new desktop as my current one is dying on me at anytime. I'm even thinking of buying a Xbox360 and LCD tv as mentioned in the previous post. But my priority right now is a new desktop, a high end one that's able to support almost any games in the world. Haha.

And Football Manager 2009 really rocks. Played the demo in school and I'm definitely gonna buy the game when it's released. =D

Watched Tropic Thunder yesterday with vin bingyi and gin to celebrate gin's birthday. Ate at Manhattan Fish Market and went to vin house to watch Liverpool's match. Nothing much in particular.

School's starting tomorrow, and Temasek Poly changed the bloody email to Windows Live ID. And I can't even login now, knowing that our lecturer might email us to tell us any announcement regarding the Major Project. How great is TP yeah? 2 thumbs up.. =D

Went to ate Pizza Hut at CP with shir and hei just now, hei got marksman during his BMT and that's really good. Haha. Walked around and went Hougang Mall as well, and I'm really tempted to buy Xbox360. But it gonna cost me a bomb as I need to invest in a HD Tv as well. So... What should I do? *Sigh*

Alright.. I'm back with an update after weeks of leaving my blog empty, so I'm here to update today cause it's a special occasion today, not any anniversary with anyone since I'm not attached, but a day I ended Student Internship Programme at Electronic Arts.

What can I say..? Happy or sad? Having mixed feelings since last night while chatting with my friends in MSN. The colleagues at Electronic Arts are really very nice, they are friendly and a bunch of jokers cracking jokes almost at any point of time. But at the same time working very hard as a team in order for the project to go on smoothly. 15 weeks of attachment just ended so quickly like it's just last week that I'm started as a QA tester at Electronic Arts, but it ended today and will be heading back to school for Major Project on a flash game for MAS(Monetary Authority of Singapore).

The 15 weeks attachment has really been a great one, with nice senior testers and friendly leads around, really makes me feel not so awkward working there. Adapted as soon as possible and got into action, but it's quite a sad thing that I really started to make fun of the testers and joking around with them towards the end of the internship period. When the internship started, I will be looking forward to ending work and getting home as soon as possible. But now I'll definitely miss the times there as a QA tester. Hope the card we gave them will let them remember that they've a bunch of joker interns before. =D

It's a public holiday today, and I got to get a break at home. So I'm thinking perhaps I should have a small update of some events which took part for the last few days.

Last Saturday went to Sakae Sushi for dinner with Shir. Chatted and walked around Hougang Point, it's been quite long since I last went there. I can't even remembered when was the last time I went there. After that went home to watch soccer and F1, Liverpool won 2-0 over Everton. Massa came in 1st for the qualifying, which made me rather happy for the night. =D

Sunday as usual, soccer day. This time there was a lot of rare people turning up, people like Bp, which hasn't turn up for soccer sessions for dunno how many years already. Haha. And on that day, there were 12 people in the court. Usual peeps like gin, by, vin, kc, me, hanpin, nansheng, thomas and pk, with new faces like roderick and bp on that day. The weather was scorching hot on that day, and I got a heat stroke far way when playing. Got a slight headache and blur vision, so went home to rest straight after playing. When I got home, the weather's like it's gonna rain, I really feel like swearing. Haha. But I didn't. Bathed and rested for the entire afternoon. Woke up for F1 Race Day. It was a disappointing result for Ferrari team, Massa had a technical misunderstanding at the pit stop, and Raikonnen crashed out with just 5 laps to go at the position of 5th. So Ferrari didn't manage to get any points for the race in SG.

Monday & Tuesday are usual days for me, work. With attachment ending in another 3 weeks time, I can say that it really pass by at the speed of F1 car. On Tuesday night, went to meet Mr Ns Man, Ng YiuHei. He's bald and we nearly couldn't recognise him when he reached. Lol. Chilled and talked about his happenings in army, hope that he can adapt to the life inside. =D

Today is just like any normal day. I woke up rather early, bathed Pepper and watched Heroes 3 and Prison Break 4. And I literally slept the whole afternoon off after watching these 2 shows. Apparently, it seems that there's no nice shows to watch on tv even though it's a public holiday today. So it was rather bored at home, but time passes so fast that.. I'll be working again tmr. Waking up early and having a long bus right to work.

I apologize for the wordy post, but I don't have any pictures to update. Which may seems rather boring to you. But that epicts my life right now, a boring life. So.. Just bear with it for awhile and I'll come up with something interesting. =/

Watched the Formula 1 practice race just now on Star Sports, I must say that it's a really cool track and the night scene was really nice even on the tv. If I'm not having attachment during this period of time, I'd definitely work for the F1 race in order to have the feel of the cars speeding at the speed of 300km/h and the amazing noise of the cars. I truely hope the 2 drivers from Ferrari will win the race, especially Kimi Raikkonen. I hope Lewis Hamilton will crash out during the race on Sunday and end his entire career, cos I hate his arrogant attitude. Lol.

Heroes season 3 was out on Monday, watched the first 2 episodes already, it's freakingly nice with lots of twists and turns. I wonder what will happen in the next episode. Feeling very excited about it. I'm not just watching Heroes 3, I'm following up on Prison Break 4 as well. Lots of nice series for me to follow even though I'm so tired after work everyday. I guess it serves as a form of motivation for me. =D

Just 3 more weeks to the end of attachment, and I did something which I can't differentiate whether it's a good or bad thing. I found a bug in the game whereby it's at the moment that it's gonna be signed off. And this bug I found might delay the sign off date, which is not a very good thing. I'd rather wished I didn't touch the game today, then I wouldn't have found this bug that brings trouble to so many. Alright, enough of work stuffs. -.-

Weekend is here, a rather exciting Saturday and Sunday. Liverpool vs Everton on Saturday and F1 Qualifying race, F1 Race on Sunday. I just hope things will eventually get better for me, which I doubt so. So forget it. Move on..

Finally back into action for soccer this morning after resting for nearly 5 weeks due to the fracture on my big toe on my right foot. But sadly, I could still feel the pain on my big toe while playing this morning. The impact of me making tackles and some accidentally stepping on my toe left me with no options but to take off my shoes and rest at the side. I just couldn't afford to make the condition any more worst or I might forget about playing soccer in the future. I think that my right foot is really vulnerable now, with the old ankle injury that I had, adding on to the fracture on the big toe, I guess I'll have to be 200% careful when I'm on vigorous sports or exercise.

And the new soccer ball we used today, was busted by bus 136 on the road, due to some irresponsible indians who played with us and made the ball rolled down to the road. And what's even shocking was that, they just walked off without apologizing or feel the guilt to even pay us for the ball. Just don't let us see them in the near future. Damn..

I'd like to award SBS Transit the Suckiest Service on earth. It's because I've recorded the longest bus waiting time in my whole life today, with a time of 1 hr for waiting 156. Who can win me to that record, can kindly tag at my tagboard. =D

Alright, I've got some pictures to upload, but I guess I'll post it this Friday or Saturday. It's some pictures during Sunday for the Mid Autumn Festival celebration over at one of Shir's classmate, Janet's house. Had steamboat and played with sparklers and candles. Went home at around 12 midnight and I've got to work the next day. Obviously I was damn tired during work on Monday, but I wore Liverpool's jersey to work, as I told some of my colleagues (who are also Liverpool fans) that if Liverpool win, I'll wear it to work, and Liverpool won Man Utd 2-1. =D

Time really passes by like a flash of lightning, it's already mid September already. 4 more weeks to the end of my Internship, and back to school for Major Project. Alright, my bed is somehow calling me to sleep, will upload some pictures this coming weekend. =D

I've received my army letter from MINDEF asking me to book for my medical checkup between 8 - 26 of Oct. A lot of my friends also received the letter a few days ago, so it'll be soon that I'll be botak just like Elgin.

FIFA Online 2. And yeah, please don't get the wrong idea that I got this game from Electronic Arts just because I'm having attachment with them. I got this from Mindy because IAHGames is publishing the game, and it's currently the Closed Beta Test period. So she's the one who's getting free stuffs from attachment, not me. =x

And work this week, nothing much to talk about. Just waiting to "Go home, Go home" everyday. It's Happy hour today, so finished work at 5pm and went up for food and drinks. But didn't have much appetite and just grab a can of green tea and went out. The bus trip home was like F1 racing, I reached Sengkang within 1 hour. I think the bus driver is trying to qualify for next week's Formula One Night Race. Haha.

Alright, I'm back for a proper update. It's been quite a while since I last had a proper update, with pictures and text and etc. SO I'm back to the blog once again, typing post and uploading this time, and the event this time is my 3rd Cousin's Wedding on 31st of August 2008.

The wedding dinner was held at a restaurant located at Jurong Entertainment Centre, but I forgot the name of the restaurant. But it's not the main objective too. Haha. In the morning went to my Cousin's house for the tea ceremony, so 10am plus my dad came to pick us up. And when we were reaching, we saw 2 policemen chasing after a man near the community club. It's the 1st time I saw policemen doing real work, cos I thought they only know how to catch teenagers playing soccer at basketball court and street soccer courts. Haha. Whatever.. So the tea ceremony was nothing much, was chatting away with my cousins and playing with my cousin's dogs, Princess and Cookie.

Nothing much at there, ate and chat, then went back home. So went home rest and changed for the dinner. Over at the dinner, was quite havoc due to the seating arrangement, so my sis and I helped out at the entrance to escort the guests to their seats. The atmosphere was quite good, but the dinner started quite late, around 9pm all the guests reached then the dinner started. The food wasn't that bad, our table has only 8 people and most of our food wasn't finished. So passed it to my uncles' table and they finished most of it. =D

That's all the pictures I have for the night. Others are still in the CD with my cousin, but these are the pictures with me and my family are in. Looking at the last photo, I felt that it's a really big family for my mum's side, as well as for my dad's side too. And it will be difficult to find a family this big in the future anymore I guess, with big gatherings during Chinese New Year, going bai nian together and eating steamboat together. The feeling is good althought it's cramped and hot.

It's been such a long time since my entry is so lengthy, the last one was during my Genting trip during June. Haha. It shows how dull my life is ah? Lol. But nonetheless, a proper update finally. =D

2 years it had been, my blog. With 287 entries and still counting on, I've no idea time passes this fast that I've already been blogging and updating this blog for 2 years. I remembered I created this blog during the Year 1 of my Poly life, out of boredom when I'm having semester break, and wanted to have an experience of blogging, and so this blog was born. Now I'm in the midst of Year 3, and approaching the end of my Poly life...

But as you can see, as time passes by, I've been neglecting this blog and losing the passion to blog. I don't know the reason why, perhaps it's due to the lack of idea on what to blog, lack of events in my life, or lack of pictures to post. All these might be a reason for the lack of updates as time passes by slowly each day. If you guys are free while browsing my blog, you can look at the archives of my entries, at the August 2006 archive, there's almost an update everyday, but if you take a look at the latest month, the updates are like once a week or twice a week.

I realized that, not just that I've been neglecting my blog, I've been neglecting my friends around me as well. The distance between us seems to be drifting further and further away ever since I started my attachment, I'm not sure whether it's due to me having a busy week, or it's because of something else. I guess it's my fault for not attempting to at least give them a call on asking them how's their school or how's thing between his gf and him, it's really the INITIATIVE that I've always been lacking not just in terms of studies, but also in Friendship; Always taking the INITIATIVE.

If I were to sit down and reflect on myself, on my character or whatsoever, I can really find a lot of flaws in myself. I can proudly tell you all guys that, I'm not as hot tempered as before, but.. I still swears a lot. And that's a thing that, I'm sure my friends around me doesn't find it a very good thing. Am I right? Perhaps this is just me? Or just a bad habit that I can't change? Even I myself don't know the answer, vulgarities comes out from my mouth just like that.

I'm not sure if there's still a lot of people browsing my blog or still coming in to check for updates everyday even though there's still no updates. But I find that ever since my attachment started, I almost didn't even bother to sign into Blogger to update my blog, or even finding friends to chat in msn at night. My life has become very routine, when I reach home from work, I just bath and eat my dinner, watch tv and go online to update my e-SIP journal. After that I just go to sleep very very early, which I normally don't. Is it due to fatigue, or I'm not making an effort to talk to friends to know how are they? Even Pepper is very restless at home too, but whenever she sees me coming home, she would be very happy. But I don't even bother to bring her down for a walk, and just using an excuse of saying that I'm tired.

And btw, I'm feeling perfectly fine while typing this post, it might sounds a bit emotional, but don't worry, I'm fine. This post isn't pin pointing on anyone, if you find it rather uncomfortable, I can only apologize for it, I just wanted to blog out what I feel. =D

WooHOOO~!! It's Friday and it's weekends tomorrow~

Seriously time passes really fast during work, hasn't been really busy for this whole week, nothing much to report and purely just playing the game to see if there are any crashes. And for today, it's Combined Happy Hour. What it means is actually, the every last Fridays of the month, there will be a Happy Hour session whereby all QA testers finish work at 5pm, and make our way up to the 4th level office(for your info, EA at Guthrie House have offices at 3rd and 4th level) , and we mainly just eat and socialize with the engineers. It's quite a good thing and something new for me to know about the company as well, now I'm anticipating the every last Fridays of the month, but not just cos of this Happy Hour, but also approaching to my pay day. =D

Hmmm. It's weekend tomorrow, not sure whether I'm going out to anywhere anot. But most importantly gonna have a good rest tonight, weather have been really good for sleeping these few days, but I've to wake up early for work. Damn. That's for my little update, nothing much to talk bout work as well, since I can't talk much also, so I just KISS (Keep It Short & Sweet). =D

Went to watch The Dark Knight after work yesterday with Choonwei, Meifong, Wei Kiat, Mindy and Leo at Shaw Tower. It's a must watch movie, the plot is really nice, although there are some parts whereby I don't understand what they are talking about, but slowly I get to understand it. It's a bit draggy and lengthy for the movie, 2 hrs and 30 mins, but it's worth the $9.50 that I spent. =D

And the Joker in the movie, is extremely funny and smart. There are some parts whereby he has some funny actions, but since his name is Joker in the show, of cos he must act as one. He acted very well in the movie, from a bad guy to a funny guy, facial expressions and etc are all well acted out. But it's such a pity that he passed away shortly after The Dark Knight had finished production due to an accident of drug overdose, at the age of 28.

It's Saturday today, and I practically slept the whole afternoon away. Cool yeah? Was eagerly anticipating for the weekend arrival, but aftermath: Stayed at home for the entire day, simply sleeping away. Alright, guess I will be staying at home for the entire day tomorrow as well. IT'S FRIDAY TMR!!! AND I'M WATCHING THE DARK KNIGHT AFTER WORK!!

Alright.. I sounds retarded. But nonetheless, haven't been updating for the past 1 week or so, things have been rather routine for me. Going to work everyday morning and going home in the packed 156 and the freaking long journey. Thank god I have changed my HP wallpaper to someone's picture to keep myself motivated at work. Interested to know who's on my HP, ask me for my phone and look at it when you see me. =D

For work wise, has been shifted over to another project. But the old project is still in progress, meaning which we will be asked to do on 2 different projects at the same time in a few weeks time. Right now I'm playing a soccer game on a Nintendo Wii.

It's a rather new and interesting thing for me as I've never touched and played any games on Wii before. Hence I was getting used to the kinematics of the remote controls and it is a totally different thing when you are playing a soccer game on a Wii. But it's a really cool experience for me. I might be getting a Nintendo Wii if I get save enough money and there are games which can attracts me. =D

Mr Jonathan Chee came to EA today to see how we are doing at the company, but he could only sit at the meeting desk and talk to us. He told us that we won't be having any holidays all the way until we graduate, meaning which we will be doing Major Project after the EA attachment, and after the project, we will be either doing another project or going for another attachment at a random company. We were rather shocked to hear this news, cos we knew that we won't be going for another attachment definitely as there are not much games company wanting any interns, so we will in school developing 2 Major Projects. COOL YEAH~

Alright.. Have started work for 2 days already. So far so good I can say, just that I hate the long bus rides to work and back home. Have to waste 3 hrs of my day just to get to work and go home. But no choice, I have no choice to make for my attachment, this is the best place that they can send me to already. =D

For the past few days have been quite easy for me, playing and testing out a game (I'm not supposed to update much about it as I've signed the Non-disclosure Agreement). It might sound really easy, we can just sit down there and play the game and do nothing, at the end of the day we get paid. But I'm getting the feeling that as time goes by, it will be getting even more tougher than it sounds. As we had only started work for like 2 days, of cos it sounds easy. =x

For food wise, Fifth Ave has got a lot of coffee shops just right across of the office. Nice food though, but we have not really try all the food yet, and for this 3 months we won't be having trouble at eating lunch. The EA QA office is quite spacious, there's this clean room where it's freakingly cold inside, just like a fridge, and Edward has to stay inside to test a game for 8 hrs a day. The overall feeling at the office was rather good, friendly people around. But at the end of the day it's still business, work must still be done.

I'm looking forward on finishing this internship and experiencing working in a gaming industry and knowing how it is like. And many of my lecturers told us, many good and successful programmers started off at the QA team testing and debugging games, and our supervisor at work told us that the Director of EA in SG started off at the QA team as well. So I'm sure this will be a good internship for me to start out my job in the future. So wish me luck in this 3 months!

Alright people.. If you guys had my MSN, you all should know that my major project has been changed for the 2nd time. And today me and my group mates went back for a short briefing held by Michael Gerard, he told us that my group will be replacing 3 other people for the EA game testers. I guess it's at least a good news for me as I won't be having my dad going down to TP to complain and talk to the directors.

So from tomorrow onwards, Monday to Friday 9am - 6pm, I will be working at EA as Game Testers. I'm quite anticipating this as I will be having friends like Leo and Eddy with me, Eddy will be going to the company with me as we are both taking 156 to Fifth Ave where the office is located at. Oh ya.. From what we heard from Michael, our monthly pay is $500, much more than the initial pay of others having SIP now. So it's a rather good news for us yeah? Be a game tester and get paid $500 per month. But I'm sure the work there will be very tough as well, cos there's no free lunch in this world. =D

P.S to Shirley: I'm sorry that I won't be able to help you with your FYP, but I will try to make myself free on Saturday if you need my help. =D

A changed of blogskin as the previous skin I had friends who can't view the page. So I changed it to a new one, something similar to the previous one, but not as nice and organized as before. =D Quite lazy to find another skin, all the skins are quite girly and I find it inappropriate for me to use.

Went to watch 10 Promised to My Dog ytd at J8 with Bp, Serene, Bp's sis, Yiuhei and Shirley. Nearly couldn't make it for the movie, but luckily not much people are watching the show.The movie was quite nice, as in my point of view. Some people might not like it, but I felt that the movie was very touching, and although it's not totally about the dog, the story is heartwarming and of cos sad. This is the 1st movie that I actually cried after so many years of my life! Can you imagine me crying in a cinema? Haha. Of cos the dog was cute and obedient in the movie, if Pepper was half as obedient as her, I'd be very glad. =x But Pepper is still very cute most of the times. =D

Hmmm. Updates about school stuffs, changes in major project again. I'm no longer working on the "Vest" that was assigned to us initially due to some reasons, now I'm working on a flash game which involves action scripts. Nothing much, needa go back to school tmr for some SIP briefing and on Friday for my NAPFA test. Not very sure whether I can get a gold for it, but will try my best as choonwei mentioned that this is the only chance for us to get good results on. So yeah.. Go for it~!

Went to Chomp Chomp last night with Shir, William, Vin, Bp, Serene, Bp's sis and Yiuhei to celebrate Yiuhei's belated birthday. Haha. We ate a lot of things man, oyster omelette, satay, chicken wings, fried kway teow and etc. Even went to Ice³ after the dinner for ice cream, the ice cream there is with alcoholic drinks. You can choose to mix it with whatever drinks that the cafe has. It was nice. Not bad. Had a bloated stomach after the meal, been such a long time since I last ate like this. Lol. Reached home and waited for Euro 2008 finals, used com and msn-ed for awhile. Nothing much, chatting with a couple of my friends to burn my time off.

And the result was... Spain 1-0 Germany. Germans can say good bye to this cup already, you all are a bunch of oldies, just let the young Spain squad lift the trophy. Haha. Fernando Torres a.k.a El Nino scored the 1 and only goal of the game, good game for him with a very cool finish. =D

Spain was the only club that I supported for this competition as England didn't even qualify for the Finals, Spain really played exciting football, precise passing, creativity in the midfield and killer instinct in front of goals as well. They deserved to win this European Cup and I hope to see a much better team 2 years later in World Cup held in South Africa. =D

Was supposed to go to school this afternoon to meet Dr. Foo for our Major Project meeting, but it was canceled last minute. And luckily Edward called me and told me it was canceled, if not I'll be on the way to school as I was already prepared. The reason was because the major project that my group was supposed to work on was pushed back due to the fact that they can't get the equipments, so right now we have to work on another project and when the equipment comes during October, we will start on it. Meaning that, I will be having 2 major projects, 1 in July, another 1 in October. How great yeah? That's TP style I guess, no choice. So went to meet Choonwei 1st in town since the both of us are already prepared. Went to cineleisure to watch Get Smart together with Jamil, Weikiat and Mindy. =D

I rate this movie 4.9/5. Haha. It is a very hilarious movie. I was laughing like non stop during the movie, the story line was good and interesting, the jokes were coming one after another, I don't even have the time to prepare to stop and start laughing at another joke. Lol. It's worth the money to watch it. =D

Someone reminded me today that I have not updated for my Batam trip yet. Haha. =x So I'm back to update on a few interesting stuffs.

It's only a 45 mins ferry trip from Harbour front to Batam. Much faster than the trip to Genting, where I named it the Deadly Bus Experience. But nonetheless, the ferry was not much better. Swaying right and left, back and forth making me quite giddy. Duty Free things there are very cheap, Baileys selling at only $30+, Absolute Vodka at $36 and other goodies there.

Upon reaching there, bp's aunt came to fetch us with her car, and around 10+ people were squeezing in a 6-seater family car. That was a very classic thing. =x And there are no HDB like house in Batam, houses there are all Bungalows or terrace house. So we reached her aunt house and settled down in our room, and we went for lunch. Service attitude there was much more better than in Genting, food was nice and cheap, service was good, 2 thumbs up. =D

And at night, we bbq at bp's aunt house to celebrate bp's sis 21st birthday. The scallop on that night was delicious, have you ever tried bbq-ing a scallop still moving when you are bbq-ing it? Well, on that night we tried and it was simply delicious. And on this occasion, alcohol drinks are always present. And without fail, all sat down and started playing games. The drink of that night was Martell Cordon Beau, mixed with sprite or plain water. We spin a bottle and whoever it points to must drink the mixed drinks, and sing a song or dance. The ultimate loser that night was yiuhei I guess, and vincent. The 2 of them are sitting next to each other, I wonder who brought bad luck to either of them. Lol. And yiuhei almost couldn't take it and I helped him to drink some. Overall experience was fun and hot. After bathing was shiok and tired. Haha.

2nd day went to a shopping centre that's quite high class, planning to watch a movie there but too bad, no new shows and some shows are in malay. So went to a place where we can play pool and sing karaoke in a room, in Singapore, this type of room is very expensive, but in Batam, it's cheap and better quality as compared to Singapore. Went around buying food and snacks to eat, food in Batam is really very tasty and cheap. We had seafood for dinner and it cost only about $3+ per person, and we went to buy oyster egg, fried kway teow, pancake with cheese and choco for supper. All these stuffs are better than Singapore's one 500x more. Haha. We had drinking session on the 2nd night as well, but this time round it's red wine. Lol. And some cocktails mixed by Bp's aunt, some were nice and some were too strong. Yiuhei drank quite a lot and became drunk. Haha. The aftermath of him being drunk is.... Talking nonsense and laughing to himself.

But danger is lurking all around in Batam. Bp's aunt told us that a few months ago there's a Chinese indon girl who's studying in the Uni near her house, and one night she had lessons until 9pm+, so she wanted to take a cab home. But the cab in Indonesia is different from SG, the driver can pick up more passengers on the way. SO the girl shared the cab with 3 other guys in order to save money, cos she's supporting the whole family. But she's found dead a few days later, naked in a forest, limbs were chopped off. The people in the cab raped and killed her, but were never caught.

We were all stunned by what we heard, and conclusion is that...
Batam's food is nice, Singapore's security is still the best. =D

Alright people!!! I'm back from Genting yesterday at around 9.30pm. This post will be purely just an entry about what happened in Genting, photos will be uploaded in the next post when Andy send me the photos when he's free. =D

Day 1
Went to Bp's house to meet with the others before heading off to Kovan to take the coach. They played mahjong awhile to kill time and I used computer to kill my time off. Lol. So around 8pm plus, we set off to Kovan, ate a late dinner there before boarding the coach. The coach is not that bad, quite comfortable and cozy, aircon is very power as well. It doesn't have any games and small tv on the seat, but it got a screen in the middle of the bus ceiling screening a movie: 10,000 BC. But not much people were watching that show as they are all sleeping. Lol. The route to Genting is rather long, the highway is very scary as there wasn't any road lights around, the driver needs to look out for the cars' headlight as an aid for the road lights. Moreover, the driver is driving at a speed around 120km/h? He overtook a lot of buses during the journey, and I was quite afraid that if some wild boar dashes out, the whole bus will overturn.

But luckily we reached Genting in one piece, reached First World Hotel at around 4am plus. But the check in time is around 1pm, so we went to bell counter to deposit our luggage first and we went to the lobby to... SLEEP. 1 cool thing during that time is that, Andy and Serene were lying on the chairs in the lobby, but the police officer didn't wake them up and wake the others doing the same thing instead, that was really a weird thing that happened. Haha. So at around 10am plus, we went to eat breakfast and kill off some time at the arcade. We played the basketball machine for the whole stay at the arcade, objective is to collect enough tickets to exchange a pillow for Bp's sis. Lol.

Then we went to eat at pizzahut. And the service attitude in Malaysia simply sucked. We waited for damn long, kena cut que and the staffs inside are taking their own sweet time clearing tables. So there's one lady, I guess she's from HK, she scolded the waiter and there's a lot of vulgarities coming out, the waiter actually scolded the lady back too. What a nice thing to do eh? Haha. Cool yeah? And never expect iced water in M'sia, cos they will never give you as it is too precious.

So at around 1pm, we went to check in to our hotel room, collected our luggages and off we go up to 17th floor of First World Hotel. =D So we settled down at the hotel room with our luggage and bathed for the first time in 10 hours. After bathing, we rested awhile at the room and met at 7.30pm for dinner and movie, Kungfu Panda. We ate Macdonalds for dinner, their menu is different from the SG's one, but the price is around the same. And the salt and sugar in M'sia seems to be free, the fries is freakingly salty and the milo is damn sweet.

So after the dinner, we went to walk around in the shopping mall. Yiuhei, Andy, Bp, his bro and serene went to try out the archery. It seems fun but they all complained of aches after playing, luckily I didn't played. Haha. And Andy seems to be a pro in archery, he was very accurate and nearly hit the bulls eyes a few times. So we went to watch the movie at 11.30pm, although I've already watched the movie, but since the others had not watched it, I accompanied them to watch it, but the most of the time in the theater, I was sleeping. =x After the movie, we went back to the hotel to rest.

Day 2
We woke up at around 8am plus and prepare, met the others at 9.30am and off we go to purchase the outdoor and indoor Theme Park ticket. The weather wasn't that ideal during that day, we sort of wasted money on the tickets due to the fog. So we played the indoor rides first, went to que up for the indoor mini roller coaster. The ride wasn't that scary at all, and I don't understand why there are so many people screaming and shouting. And we went to play bumper cars, it was quite fun but the arena was a bit too small. I was targeted by all of them and they went to crash onto me together, making me no way to go as I was the one who came up with the idea to do that at first. Haha.

Then we went to the outdoor to see what rides was available. The fog was still very thick and we can hardly see anything far away from us. So we played the merry go round ride 1st, the ride wasn't that bad, except that it made us all very giddy. After this ride, we went to find the pirate ship. And we que up for it, seeing a lot of people screaming up there. But when we went up, we can't sit at the back row, if not the feeling will be much more greater. So we were somewhere in the middle, and I think vincent and me pissed some of the people up there, as we were screaming and trying to make them shout, but there was no output from the others that we dunno on the pirate ship. Lol.

Then we went to que up for the Spaceshot, but only vincent bp serene and me were keen to play this. We que up for quite some time and see a lot of people shouting, and the machine making loud noise, and what's worst? Someone's handphone actually dropped down from the ride when it is coming down at a super fast speed. He put his phone on his shirt pocket, and of cos, when the ride is coming down at such a speed, everything will fly out. A lot of people were shocked by the phone dropping down, and we were afraid that it might hit anyone and it will be severe cos the dropping speed is very fast. Not long after this incident, it was our turn to go up. Serene bp and vincent sat tgt, while I separated from them and sat with a Malaysian couple and they are very funny and friendly. On the way up, we were chatting quite happily, but when we reached the top, I was quite nervous as the fog was very thick and we couldn't see anything. It's as if we were in the clouds. And the moment it goes down, it was so fast that I could hardly react, my mouth was wide open but no voice came out. It was only until it stopped and went up again then my voice came out. The girl sitting beside me was so scared that she said that she should not have came up. LOL. And the bf had to helped her down the seat and walk with her. I was very cold and shivering all the way. Haha.

Then we went to take some kind of slow moving boats, it is going really slow that we had to wait for rather long for the boat to come. The boat ride was nothing much, it brings us into a small cave quite smelly and humid and showed us dinosaurs life. Nothing much of the ride really, no thrill at all. Haha. And the weather got worst, started to rain quite heavily. So we went back to the hotel room and decided to go and take cable car down the mountains, it's the longest and fastest cable car in the whole of South East Asia. But a pity that the weather was foggy, couldn't get to enjoy the scenery in the cable car. So we reach the bottom of the mountains and went to buy some local specialties. We bought quite a lot of things, and went to take the cable car up the mountains at around 7pm. The sky was all dark and we can only see the spotlights on the cable car route.

When we reached, we planned to go have dinner, but Andy wanna go back to the theme park to buy some souvenirs, so we went back to the theme park. But when we reached there, the shops had already closed. So we can't buy anything there, and we went to play some of the rides again, so as not to waste the money. Vin and me went back to play Spaceshot again, and shocking enough, the fog is starting to clear and we can see much more clearly. And this time, the Spaceshot experience was much more terrifying compared to the 1st ride. Firstly cos that we can now see the things below, and also cos we know the feeling of it already. And I was amazed that Vin actually was so steady to play the ride again with me, I was quite scared but he was damn calm throughout. Haha.

After the ride, we heard some kids saying that some thrilling rides were opened. So we went to check it out, but only Cyclone was activated. So we went to que up for it, and unluckily enough, Bp serene and me, tgt with a small kid was asked to sit at the 1st seat, so we had to go first. The start of the ride was quite creepy, as there was a blackout due to short circuit. And we were afraid that if we were going halfway, the whole thing stopped and we got stucked in the middle of nowhere. But it started out smoothly, and it wasn't that scary at all, I screamed just for fun, to make others nervous only. Haha.

Then we went for dinner after the ride, had dinner at Only Thai restaurant. The food wasn't that bad, except that the quantity was far too little, and we wasn't full after the meal. Haha. After the dinner we went to walk around awhile and head back to the hotel. I guess we slept shortly after we reached, all of us were quite tired after the long day.

Day 3
Nothing much happened on the last day, we woke up and met for breakfast at a Dim Sum restaurant. The food wasn't that bad, the porridge was very nice, but as usual the quantity was far too little. After the breakfast, we went back to our room to pack up. And prepared to check out of the room. The hotel rooms there were actually quite 'dirty' as bp they all heard strange noises during the 1st night, and during the 2nd night we heard a loud noise like a sewage in the middle of the night. But never mind, we are all safe and sound. We brought our luggage to the bell counter again to deposit there and went walking around to kill off time.

I kind of forgot what happened during the last day, and we board the bus at around 3pm. The route downhill was much faster than uphill, the driver stopped at some place where we can buy local specialties there, so we spent some time buying stuffs there, I bought quite a lot of things there and I think I spent a lot on food in M'sia. Haha. And we boarded the bus and continued with the journey back to Sg, I couldn't really sleep as I wasn't that tired. The 2nd stop was at some deserted place where we can eat our dinner, Andy bought a box of bubble gum and we all split it up and placed it into our jacket pockets. Haha. So nothing happened at the checkpoint and we were all cleared. Reached Sg at around 9pm.

Term 1 is finally over for me, just left with Sound Design project and Business of Computer Games class test when school reopens in 2 weeks time. Presentation ytd was a a total screwed up, I think not just for our group, other groups kena arrowed like nobody's business as well. But I think my group was the most "zai" and arrogant as we turned down the offer offered by them. It happened when they wanted to take an amount of control over our game idea and marketing strategy, saying that our game is related to Terrorism and it teaches the targeted audience how to plant a bomb. Hello? Our game is just about a Detective, trying to catch a mysterious guy who said that there's a bomb in the shopping mall, but it's all nothing but just a hoax. In which way that we teaches the targeted audience any form of planting a bomb? As for our marketing strategy, it's viral marketing and we upload videos up to youtube.com regarding the hoax, and they said this will create fear and chaos to the audience. We are in total OMG-mood. And at the conversation when we rejected them, it goes like this:

They: "Will you all agree to a deal that whereby we gain a certain control over your game idea and development of the game as well as for the marketing plan?"

*All of us shakes our head*

Edward(CEO): "NO, No.. We won't agree to that. We can take our ideas else where as we think that this is a brilliant idea."

*The judges were all stunned by our answers*

I feel that although we might flunk this presentation, but at least we all had a stand in our idea. We are supposed to be creative in terms of ideas and whatever, and now they said we must not be so stubborn and arrogant. So just who's right and wrong? Forget it, even if I fail this module, I will have no regrets for having our own stand. =D

As for today, went to school for Sound Design and watched Kung Fu Panda with my classmates after the lesson. It was a MUST watch movie, it's damn hilarious and cute. Some scenes and conversations in the movie are very funny and my jaw nearly cramped while laughing. LOL. Nothing much of today, and I'll be overseas during the following days:

8th June - 10th June (Genting Trip)
15th June - 17th June (Batam Trip)

Finally has got the time to update my blog, it's been almost a week since my last update.

Just finished doing a 2500 words Business of Computer Games report, it's been finalized and just need to print it out in school and submit it in school tmr. Finally the biggest headache of mine is resolved, now it's just awaiting for the presentation on Thurs, which is another headache. Lol.

Had mobile game programming test earlier on in school. Hmmm.. What can I say? The MCQs questions are really very easy, but the coding part really kills. I think I lost almost 20 marks at the coding session. Just hope to pass this test as it's 30% weightage, which is a lot. And we gonna present the mobile game tmr at 10.30am, not really sure what to present really, just pray hard I can pass it. =D

After the test, there's MP/SIP briefing by Michael Gerard, our in charge for MP/SIP. Basically it's just getting to know what project what are going to develop, which companies we are going etc. Not much details on the project was given. My group is doing on something called "Vest", it's a motion sensor vest that 1 person will wear on, and maybe when a device shoots the vest, it can be detected. It sounds really fun, but in technical aspects, "It can really be a pain in the ass." quoted by Michael Gerard. He said that the project has not been finalized yet as it depends whether they can get the vest and so on. DUH.. Some of my friends are going to EA as Game Testers, I really pity them as some of them lives in Pasir ris and Hougang, they've got to make their way to Sixth Avenue where the EA office is. Lol. Mindy is going to IAH (Infocomm Asia Holdings) for her SIP, and she's all alone in that category and is in charged by our Course manager. Lol. Poor thing, but I'm sure it's going to be a really good experience there. =D

Just finished watching the charity show on Channel 8 for the Si Chuan earthquake victims, and I've got the feeling to blog this out. It's really a sad thing seeing so many victims of the earthquake in search of their loved ones, never knowing what happened to them, whether if they are still alive or not. Crying and shouting out their names in the videos really made me feel that we as Singaporeans really have a blessed life, and we might not know how blessed we are until this earthquake incident had happened. We saw how sudden and traumatized these people are in these videos, and it really made my eyes watery. There's this incident where the video showed this guy which is under the rock, he was trying really very hard to keep himself awake, and telling the soldiers how much he loved his wife, and when the soldiers finally get him out of the rock, the man died in the hospital. When I heard that he's dead, I was like speechless. A man with so much determination to see his wife again, to get himself out of the rock, hanging on for so long just for his survival, died while receiving treatment in the hospital. And there's another incident when there's this little boy who's trapped under the debris and the soldiers couldn't get underneath to get him out, and the boy's leg was stucked in the rock, so the soldiers had to bring a saw down to the little boy and he's got to saw his own legs off in order for them to rescue him. But on the way to the hospital, the little boy died. =( All these incidents really made me feel how fortunate I am in my state right now, able to study, together with my family, and so on. I truely hope that the aftershocks in Si Chuan will be over soon, so that they can rebuild the place with all the donations that they had received. =)

Alright, today's been a very tired day for me, went to play soccer in the morning, and right now my shoulder is roasting red. Lol. And I didn't sleep in a correct posture last night, my neck is strained, and plus the exercise I had, it's really a very tiring day for me as both my legs had cramps while playing. And my dad rubbed some Shaolin oil on my neck just now it's feeling better already and the feeling is very shiok. Haha. 2 more weeks to the end of term, projects deadlines are very near, class tests are approaching, and I guess my time will be very limited. Hope that everything will turn out fine and I'll be able to clear everything. =D

Back from a long day in school. 9am - 7pm. It's the same thing for tmr, due to the Vesak Day holiday, we've got to make up for these missed lessons. But nonetheless, projects are due soon, in 2 more weeks. Stayed back during Mobile Game Programming just now to do the game, it's almost completed, just left with a few more bugs to remove and adding in more features. The demo version is now in my new hp. Its quite fun lah actually, except that it's not been fully developed yet, I can't send you my friends to try. =D Nothing much to update for today actually, will be uploading some pictures to hopefully brighten up your days. =)

Today's been quite an exciting day, woke up at around 9am by my classmate's sms, telling me that there's a makeup lab from 9am - 12pm. And I was still on my bed at 9am. Lol. So I online and saw a couple of my classmates, they didn't attend as well as they didn't know about the announcement posted in OLE. So the entire class only 1 person attended. Haha.

So I went for the lab at 12pm, reached rather early and talked my classmates regarding the announcement thing, as the entire class didn't know about it. First time we kena this case. Haha. So started the lab, nothing much too heavy, except the lecturer was like rather entertaining and told lots of stories to us. And he actually don't believe that I don't have a girlfriend. Lol. Am my looks really that deceiving? =x So he saw the lab opposite of us got several good looking girls, then he will kay kay walk behind saying to help me see got nice girls anot, so I told him those nice girls are sure attached already, and he replied that attached but not yet married, still got chance. Lol. And I replied him that I don't like to "overtake" cars, cos I haven got my license officially yet, and I might get into an accident, and the whole class just LOL. Haha.

Tomorrow's lesson only until 12pm, might be going amk with my classmates to see some stuffs. Friday is CCN Day for TP, lessons might be cancel on that day, but I'm not going school anyway, since I'm going to SP to help Shirley Chia Pei Yi with her Major Project, I've got to get poked by needles and lose several litres of my blood that day. =X

Had a graded lab session for Sound Design today, was a very sudden one, and we wasn't informed about it during the last lab session. But overall, the questions were rather manageable, except for a couple of questions, we can't seem to get the perfect changes and see the expected outcome, but the graded lab was due in 1 week's time, but the whole class simply finished it within the 3 hrs lab. Lol.

And ya, choonwei went to the Business of Computer Game lecture yesterday, and he said that the course manager was there, and told them about the overseas attachment might be made available to some of us in the course. There are 3 countries available: China, Canada and Australia. I really want to go over to Australia or Canada, and Australia is offering 2 university vacancies for the attachment, and I doubt I can make it as my results suck. It's really very appealing and a good opportunity for us, but I doubt it's my chance anyway. Haha. And the course manager also told us we can start making a Logo Sound (those sound you hear when you login Windows), and send it overseas for competition since we are learning Sound design right now. The prize is damn attractive man, Euros $35,000, which is around SGD$80,000. Omg, if I win that, I can do a lot things with that amount of money. Hehehe.

Happy 19th Birthday to Lim Bing Yi!

Was planning to go celebrate his birthday today, but vin said there's only me and him free. So it's canceled in the end. Was rather disappointed, as in.. As time goes by, I feel that the amount of times we meet up in a week is getting lesser and lesser, as well as for the amount of people that can meet up every week. But I understand that some of them are working, they are busy, but if all of us can really meet up for a dinner or so, it'd be really great.

And the time really flies pass like a F-16 jet. Week 3 is already over, and I've like a month left to study in TP, before I really get allocated to a company for attachment. If unluckily for me, I'd be even attached to school for internship, and it'd be $0 income for me as my results really sucks. And speaking about results, during mobile game lab yesterday, someone from another class who's in the same lab group as us, was talking about the Director List of our course. And he seems to be looking down on our class people results and talk extremely loud, I admit I got the urge to go forward and punch him in the face, but thinking back, it wasn't worth it. But in this society now, results do really have a huge impact on us, a lot of people judge you by your results and not by your characteristics nowadays, and that's typical of the society I guess.

Hmmm.. Alright, this post isn't directed to anyone that's reading it, it's just what I've been feeling nowadays, and I feel that it'd be really off my chest that if I post it out. It's a really bore bore Saturday weekend for me, no activities, no soccer, no nothing. Just plain sleeping. Cool~

Weekends are here again. But got to do some stuffs, journal and etc.

And something SIMPLY AWESOME happened on Labour Day when me and quite a few no. of my friends went to play soccer at the street soccer court at 102. We reached there, the gates were locked, so we saw a hole at the goal post there which will be able to let us climb in. So we climbed in to play as there's quite a no. of us there and there is no other street soccer court in SK. So we started playing, in the midst of playing, I realized there are 2 policeman and 1 fuking bangala walking towards us. So we got to know, something's wrong...

The bloody bangala from the RC called the police, and the moment the police reached and he escort them there, he ran off, thinking that we didn't see his face. But too bad, we saw you fuking bangala. Its gonna be living hell for you when we go down the court in a few coming weeks. =D

The 2 policeman asked us how we got in, and so I told him, we got in from the hole at the bottom of the goal post. So he asked us to climb out and let him see, and we did that. Took out our ICs and handed over to them to check whether we have any ex records. So upon checking our identification and realizing that none of us got an ex record, he asked us out for our Hps, and checked the serial key, wanna charge us for handphones theft and looked us down for not having money to buy. All of our handphones are much better than the 2 policeman. Ass.

So after that, he scolded us for trespassing and vandalism of the street soccer court. As if he got any evidence to prove that we vandalised the court. The policeman even stated an example, saying that if we see a house with a hole in the door, and the door is locked, is it illegal for us to enter? Of cos it's illegal to enter someone's house when the door's locked, as it's a private property. But a street soccer court is opened to the public, it's exactly 2 different matters, can really see how "knowledgeable" the policeman is. =X

So he said we might be called down to the police station for further investigation in the vandalism of the court. He just only wanted to scare us by making that statement, it's not illegal for us to play soccer there and there's no CCTVs there to take down what we've done, even if we are called down, they can't charge us. He even doesn't want to return us out ICs to us, trying to act and scare us more, called back to the station and talk to his superior. But too bad lah, not enough evidence to take us back into the station, and not enough seats on the car to hold so many of us. So in the end he have to return us our ICs and asked the oldest among us to come out. So vin was the oldest and the policeman talked to him one to one, in a very good mannered way and hypocrite style. Asking us to go over to the RC to take the keys and book the court or what, a baby also knows that 1st of May is a public holiday and the RC is closed. Dumb..

From this incident, it shows really how free the Singapore Police Force are. Coming down to the court and taking down names from people who play soccer there. I'm wondering is it a CRIME to play SOCCER at a street SOCCER court?

I realized that as each month goes by, my entries are getting lesser and lesser. I don't know the exact reason why, perhaps it's due to laziness, lack of interesting stuffs to blog, busy and etc. But nonetheless, I'm back to update today. =D

Went to celebrate my birthday last Saturday at Shokudo Japanese Restaurant at Raffles City Shopping Centre, the food there was nice and very filling. Had a great meal and time having dinners with all my friends. So a big thank you to Vincent, Bingyi, Yiuhei, Junlum, Maureen, Khengchong, Elgin and Jim. And others who wished me Happy Birthday on that day. =D Cheers.

School's been pretty good the past few days, projects coming up and we got to spend more time on them during lab lessons. It's the last term of learning, so I guess I've to go all out to pass all these subjects. So today, had Business of Computer Games lab for 6 hours, due to the make up for tmr's Labour Day holiday. Lessons at 9am and i slept like at 4.30am as I'm watching Champions League. And I'm watching the game of Liverpool against Chelsea later on. =D So today in class, had something like a financial lesson, made use of Excel to make a spreadsheet out of all the expenses we gonna make for our game development process, played around with the figures and made out the graph for our report. Not very tough but eyes went blurry after seeing so many figures. Haha.

Went to watch Iron Man after the lessons today, it was a very nice movie, and I strongly recommend all of you to go watch that movie as soon as possible. It's definitely worth the money. =D The movie was action packed, not ironic, great story line and etc. Haha. So I rated it 4.5/5.

Wow~ I realized I've neglected my blog for the past 2 weeks, due to the fact of laziness and lack of activities to update on, so my blog was left stagnant. By the way, school's starting just next week, time really flies, and this mark the end of my 2 months vacation and here I am marching towards year 3 of poly life.

Went back school a few days back for the semester briefing, got to know of what we will be doing in year 3, subjects like Business of Computer Games, Mobile Game Programming, and Sound Design (my most anticipated subject). Upon clearing these 3 core subjects, I'll be going on for attachment at a company, and at the same time, doing my major project at the company as well. Which means after the new term, I'll be spending my rest of the 3 terms, which is around 35 weeks at a company instead of Temasek Poly, which is something I'm quite sad about. But nonetheless, I need to clear the remaining 3 subjects to go on this path. So I got to work hard I guess?

Went to watch Three Kingdom: Resurrection of The Dragon with my classmates after the semester briefing, it's an awesome movie I must say, the story is touching and nice, battle scenes are nice etc. Worth the money to watch it, but only that the cinema theatre is a bit too hot.

Timetable is released yesterday, it's the most ridiculous among all my past timetables. I shall tell you all why.

And I guess I'll be a statue on Monday during the 2 hrs lecture from 7pm - 9pm. =X

Happy April's Fool Day to everyone. Not a bad day actually, got tricked by Shirley Chia Peiyi in the middle of midnight and I was like fully awake by that time even though I was tired. But I knew she was tricking me halfway through on phone, so I played along with her for her act, as not to disappoint her. =x

Nothing much to mention today, stayed at home for the entire day. Did nothing much except playing psp and using com. And just got my IGAI supp paper results in the evening, got a P for it. Which means I'm promoted to year 3. Thank god that I passed that subject.

Chalet is just 3 days away, still left with some stuffs not bought yet, gonna go get them either tmr or on Thursday. Nothing much to talk about. Bye Bye. =D

Spent my past few days watching Heroes Season 1, just a few more episodes to finishing season 1. And then shall re watch season 2 once again. It's not a bad show actually, lots of scientific theory about genetic cells, not as exciting as Prison Break though, but definitely much more actions than Prison Break. And I'm still waiting for news regarding Prison Break season 4, hoping there will be more. =D

Other than watching Heroes, played FFVII Crisis Core as well. Know how I utilize my time? Simply just played Crisis Core until my psp runs out of batt, and shall charge it. t take about 2 hrs for it to be fully charged, and during the 2 hrs or so, spent my time watching about 2 episodes of Heroes. =D Crisis Core is totally an awesome game, among so many RPGs that I've played and came across, CC is the most unique and fun RPG. The graphics is terrific, gameplay is unique and much longer than God of War, story line is something about genetic cells as well. Was playing for the past few days or so and Zack(main character) is currently level 30 in the game. The leveling up system is something special as well as it's something like a slot machine, as well as for those limit breaks.

Going for jog tmr morning, after resting for like 3 days without exercising as I've got some stuffs to attend to. And chalet is finally booked, 4th - 6th of April, and gin will be enlisting into the army on the 10th of April. Time really flies, and he will be in army during my birthday. How sad.. Lol. =D

Alright. It's time for me to update, since I've got some things to talk about. Shall talk about Liverpool's match against Inter, Liverpool progressed to the Quarter Finals after winning Inter 1-0 last night, with the aggregate score of 3-0.

Stayed up and watch the game, slept at around 5.30am after the match, was supposed to go for a jog just now, but due to the rain the jog was cancelled. NAPFA is coming, so have got to train myself for the 2.4km run. And just gotten my results not long ago from the SMS service, what can I say, just one word to describe everything: Bad. Had to retake IGAI and it is a CA based and not SA based, meaning it's project based and not exam based. How great yeah? Luckily I didn't get a job, in fact I didn't get a job cos I knew that I'll definitely be failing at least one of these subjects, so I dun really know why am I whining here like nobody's business.

WOW! Seems like Singapore has gotten very famous recently after today's incident. Shall talk about it more later. First shall talk about Liverpool's match against West Ham in which they won 4-0. Watched the match until 6am and slept, poor Pepper has got to watch soccer with me until the morning. Haha. Because of the noise of the television and me walking to the toilet several times, I woke her up, for 2 consecutive nights already. Lol. Poor thing right? =x Woke up at 11am plus due to cw's sms, asking me to accompany him to town for job hunting, I didn't apply though, due to the fact that I'll be taking supp most probably, so accompanied him there, went far east and centrepoint. Then back home, nothing much, except that on the way home at Somerset mrt, heard the announcement stating that Outram Park mrt is unavailable, due to an incident that happened, and I thought that it was Mas Selamat appearing there, but in fact, when I reached home and only got to know that it was a 40 year old guy being shot to death after killing another guy nearby and ran away, and attempted to attack the police with the weapon he had, so the police has no choice but to shoot him I guess. And in just a week's time, Singapore got such 2 phenomenon headlines, 1st was Mas Selamat, and now a guy shot dead at Outram Mrt. =x

And I shall introduce you guys, the latest PSP game that I'm currently playing, and almost all the PSP fans out there are crazy about...

Started playing this game for like 1-2 hrs, it totally rocks my socks and owns. I've tried the PS2 version at gin's house b4, and I find it really a nice game, and it didn't disappoint all the God of War fans as well. The only bad thing about it is that, the game play hours are really short, it only take approximately 4-6 hrs to complete this game, and this seems to be only bad point about this game. Omg I sounds like a game reviewer here, haha.. But nvm, since I might be starting my career in the Game industry as a game reviewer? Who knows? =D

Hmmm. It's been some time since I last blogged, nothing much to say for the past few days really, not much happened, been going out for mahjong sessions due to the boredom at home. Went to watch Jumper ytd at The Cathay with those peeps that I went to zoo with last week, the movie is rather cool, especially when one of the guy actually "jumps" and attack the so-called Paladin in the movie.

And and and, the JI leader Mas Selamat, escaped from the detention centre at whitley road. What the hell was the Singapore police doing? Omfg. But is this Mas Selamat still alive? Did he really escaped from the detention centre? It's still a question mark really.. It's been one week since his escape, and lots of people actually quote his escape from the Prison Break, and changed it to Toilet Break since he escaped while going to the toilet. Indeed he is a dangerous man, and if I get more info on the rewards part, perhaps if I see him on the road, I'll definitely get this man down, and I'm sure all the NS men will sure do this and whallop this guy, for making them unable to book out on weekends as to "fully mobilize" for the terrorist search. So it's really up to one to perceive from this latest biggest news locally.

Results will be out next Thursday, I guess I'll be retaking the 2 major subjects of AI, since I flunked both subjects' projects so badly, the possibility of me retaking these 2 subjects is very high. So I guess I just have got to admit and face reality, since my grades are so fucking bad, what to do? Haha.

Hello guys!~ I'm back with my update. And it's gonna be a post whereby there's lots of pictures, cos I just went to the zoo yesterday. LOL.

Woke up at 7am and I slept like 3am in the morning, as I went to bp's house for mahjong session. Prepared and waited for cw's reply, and he finally replied me at around 9am. And he went down to the zoo to meet us. So I headed down to AMK to meet Mindy Weikiat and Jamil, took bus down to the zoo, the trip was rather fast, reached there in about 30 mins. And so after meeting cw at the entrance, we headed in and some of the staffs took an entrance pic of us, and of cos we need to pay for those pictures. Lol. Shall let the pictures from my next post tell you guys more about my trip, as a picture speaks a thousand words. =D

Holidays!!! (For the time being)

Finally I'm having my holidays, for it's for the time being, provided that I'm not taking any supplementary paper during the vacation period. Time really flies, I'm going into year 3 in my poly life. Which I can't differentiate whether it is a good thing or a bad thing really.

Continuing from my previous post, was saying that I gonna watch Liverpool's Champions League game agains Inter. And guess what, Liverpool actually won 2-0. I was predicting a draw actually, but they actually won the game. I couldn't understand why Liverpool can win such a strong club and lose to minor clubs from lower leagues. Weird..

Steven Gerrard did the miracle again.

And back to school work, had meeting presentation yesterday in sch, formal. And it went through quite smoothly, I actually picked the role of Chairperson of the committee for the meeting. Was totally stunned at the moment as I'm afraid I will screw it up, but thank god I was able to lead the meeting well, except that I'm going at a much faster pace and my group mates were slightly at a slower pace. After the meeting, stayed back and finish up with the minutes and did the peer assessment. After which, submitted the minutes and went to eat at Tampines Mall Ajisen with Weikiat and Mindy. The food were rather nice, cheap and filling too. But now I'm craving for Thai Express. =D

Stayed at home the whole day today, nothing much also. Watched CJ7 as I downloaded it last night, not a bad movie from my point of view. Some scenes are lame, but darn funny. I was laughing so loudly during certain parts of the movie. And a few days in school, I went to Jack Neo's blog to look, as one of my classmates told me that Jack Neo said that Stephen Chow used his idea in CJ7. And after watching the movie, I think that it's a total bullshit, just that Stephen Chow used one of the phrase that he used in I Not Stupid, it means stealing your idea? Omg, you need to wake up and be a man. =X

This feeling is getting strange, I'm not sure what I should do really...
